Following Indian Army’s surgical strikes across the Line of Control (LoC) on Thursday, the retreat ceremony was cancelled.The retreat is carried out by the BSF and Pakistan Rangers every evening.
The Amritsar deputy commissioner Varun Roojam, while confirming this said, “The flag will be lowered in a routine manner but no public will be allowed.”
Meanwhile, the border along Pakistan has been put on high alert.
