The newly-formed front Awaaz-E-Punjab proposes to raise funding for the upcoming assembly elections by seeking contribution of Rs 5 per supporter.
Speaking to HT, independent legislator Balwinder Singh Bains said that their supporters will come to them and are willing to lend support to them in all forms for the larger benefit of the development of the state.

“We will not face any problems on the financial front. Our supporters who wish for an honest government are huge in number and they have been offering financial help in their quest for a clean government”.
“We have various proposals in mind that will change the way elections are held. We will seek a contribution as little as Rs 5 or Rs 10 per voter.
For voters it will be an investment for the betterment of the state,” said Balwinder Bains. Bains hit out at AAP for saying that their front will benefit SAD.
“AAP leaders are saying that by forming a separate front we will benefit the Akalis indirectly. When people will not vote for the Akalis, how can they (Akalis) be benefited?”
“No one wants to vote for SAD as they have ruined the state by spreading mafias,” he said.
“Navjot Sidhu will be our chief ministerial candidate. Our party will have many young faces,” he said.
Phoolka says fourth front to benefit SAD
Senior AAP leader HS Phoolka said the people of the state are wise enough to realise that voting for another party will mean benefiting the incumbent SAD regime.
“It is too early to say anything, people are intelligent enough to know that another party will benefit Akalis”, said HS Phoolka.
