A Scottish national became a victim of snatching in Amritsar on Thursday evening.
Rachel Whiteside was travelling on a rickshaw when two youths riding a motorcycle came from behind and snatched her purse containing `1,000, foreign currency, and an ATM card.
Civil Lines police have registered a case against unidentified persons. In another incident, Amritsar resident Ashwani Kumar claimed that he was travelling on a rickshaw when two unidentified men on a motorcycle snatched his bag containing `2.15 lakh and ran away.
