Addressing a press conference here, HPSLA state president Narotam Thakur said the HPSLA authority was conducting election of the district body across the state and now the state body election would be held on November 16 at Una district in Himachal Pradesh.

“On October 19 HPSLA held election of district body at Kullu, in which seven members namely, Rajpal, Satpal, Jai Krishan, Parkash, Gurjeet Singh Gil, Ram Krishan and Suresh, created ruckus at the venue and disturbed the normal proceeding of election, which forced the authority to cancel the election on that day, due to which HPSLA authority slapped notices to all the members,” he added.

Thakur asserted that Dhiraj Sagar was elected as president of district body unanimously by the members of association.

Describing the stance of rebels, Thakur alleged that the rebels were engaging to create parallel body in the district, which might pose danger to the unity of the association.
