The 'jatha' will return on June 30. The SGPC had sent a list of 148 persons alongwith their passports for visa clearance to the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi. Of these, the home ministry, which gives the initial clearance, deleted the names of 14 persons while the high commission did not issue visas to another four.

SGPC member Gurmit Singh Bhoo was to lead the 'jatha' but his name was deleted. In his place, the SGPC appointed Gurinder Singh as the 'jatha' leader.
