Slamming the Jammu and Kashmir government for allegedly failing to ensure requisite security measures for the pilgrims, the Shiv Sena demanded that all those who ransacked tents of the pilgrims or attacked them be arrested.

The protesters raised slogans against Abdullah and also demanded that tough measures be taken by the government to ensure safety of the pilgrims.
As many as 24 people were injured after clashes broke out at Baltal base camp between two groups.
