Soldier dies, two injured in blast
A soldier died while two were injured in a blast at in the army quarters in New Cantonment area near here on Sunday. Army sources said five persons were hammering something in the residential quarters around 11.30am when the blast occurred.

A soldier died while two were injured in a blast at in the army quarters in New Cantonment area near here on Sunday.
Army sources said five persons were hammering something in the residential quarters around 11.30am when the blast occurred.
"Sepoy Sandeep Kumar, a resident of Bhiwani district of Haryana, died on the spot while Baldev from Jodhpur and Deepak from Uttar Pardesh were seriously injured," said defence public relations offier Naresh Vig.
"The blast ripped off one arm of the soldier," Vig said. "However, it was an accident. The injured are out of danger."
A court of inquiry has been ordered to find out the cause of the blast, he said, but declined to comment further.
