Three booked for attempt to murder

Nakodar sadar police have charged Devinder Singh, a resident of Kang Sahibu village and his two unidentified accomplices for attempting murder, voluntarily causing hurt with weapons and rioting.

Nakodar sadar police have charged Devinder Singh, a resident of Kang Sahibu village and his two unidentified accomplices for attempting murder, voluntarily causing hurt with weapons and rioting.

Investigating officer Gurwinder Singh said a case has been registered on the basis of medico-legal report of Kulwinder Singh of Mudh village.

The accused attacked him with sharp-edged weapons on September 14. A case under Sections 307 (attempt to murder) 323 and324 (voluntarily causing hurt with dangerous weapons) and 148 and 149 (rioting) of the IPC has been lodged against the accused. No arrest has been made. But raids are being conducted to nab the absconding accused.
