Tikka is election observer for Sanaur constituency
The Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) has appointed Amarjit Singh Tikka as the election observer for the Sanaur constituency in Patiala district. His appointment was cleared by the AICC secretary Harish Chaudhary.

The Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) has appointed Amarjit Singh Tikka as the election observer for the Sanaur constituency in Patiala district. His appointment was cleared by the AICC secretary Harish Chaudhary.
Tikka is a member of the Central Board of Film Certification from Ludhiana.
Tikka has served the Congress for long and had a close association with late Punjab chief minister Beant Singh.
While speaking to the Hindustan Times, Tikka said, "The party has commenced the process of gearing up the Congress workers for the next Vidhan Sabha elections in Punjab, to be held in 2017."
