The employees of Nawanshahr depot held a massive protest against Badal government and Nawanshahr police on Monday.

According to the information available, Punjab Roadways Bus (PB32-J-7240) was coming from Chandigarh to Amritsar and reached the Ropar bus stand at 2.30 pm and then, orbit bus (PB03-C-3165) also reached the bus stand at the same time.

The staff of orbit bus started ferrying the passengers into their bus allegedly violating bus timings at the bus stand.

The staff of Punjab Roadways objected over this and started abusing and clashed with the conductor Amrik Singh.

After that, they took their bus and Amrik informed his officials and employees at Nawanshahr depot.

When orbit bus reached Ambedkar Chowk in Nawanshahr, employees tried to stop the bus to discuss the issue but the driver did not stop and allegedly tried to run over from them, in which some of the employees received minor injuries.
