Two sent in judicial custody for firing shots in open

A local court sent two accused Prabhveer Singh and Gagandeep Singh in judicial custody on Tuesday. Both were accused of firing openly from a licensed pistol at urban estate phase-II road on Monday late night.

Both were accused of firing openly from a licensed pistol at urban estate phase-II road on Monday late night.

They were also using blue light atop their car, when they fired four rounds; later, it was found that the blue light was being used illegally by them.

According to the police, the accused came to a restaurant in urban estate phase-II and drank heavily and later they fired four rounds from the pistol in air.

A case under various sections of the IPC and Arms Act, was registered against them at police division-7.
