A group of social activists submitted a memorandum to DC Bhupinder Singh Rai in this regard. Rai said, “Yes, we have got a memorandum from members of Bharatiya Janata Party also. I have directed the ADC Amandeep Bansal to enquire into the matter.” Bansal, on the other hand, expressed his ignorance in the matter when called.
Raj Gupta, partner of GE Cinema, where the movie is being screened in Barnala, said, “We are using the same posters which we have got from the movie distributors. However, we will put suitable indication on posters.” The CBFC, commonly known as censor board, had granted the ‘adult only’ certification to the movie based on drug abuse in Punjab.
