Undertrial escapes, 2 cops booked
Kapurthala Police have booked two policemen on charge of negligence in duty after an undertrial Paramveer escaped from their custody during court appearance.

Kapurthala Police have booked two policemen on charge of negligence in duty after an undertrial Paramveer escaped from their custody during court appearance.
Paramveer was brought on production warrant from Hoshiarpur to Kapurthala court on Thursday, from where he managed to flee after court hearing on Thursday evening.
Head Constable Jaati Ram and Constable Jaswinder Singh, both from Hoshiarpur Police, were booked under Sections 223 and 224 of IPC, sources said.
