Vivekananda's 150th birth anniversary celebrated
The 150th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda was celebrated by the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College (GNDEC) here on Wednesday.

The 150th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda was celebrated by the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College (GNDEC) here on Wednesday.
More than 400 NSS volunteers participated in the event, which also saw a 'Bharat Jago Daud'. NSS program officer and incharge Deepinder Singh flagged off the race (daud).
Giving an insight into the life and times of Swami Vivekananda, NSS programme officer Arvind Dhingra said he was a great visionary and today's youth could learn much from his teachings.
While congratulating the NSS unit, GNDEC director MS Saini said by following the teachings of such visionaries we could lead the country to the path of progress.
