Actor Adinath Kothare is excited about his next Marathi film, Take Care Good Night (TCGN). The actor is going to be seen in a completely new look and role for the Girish Joshi film. Apparently, the film will see Adinath portraying a grey character, which is something completely new to him. “I am sure you will be surprised to see me in this role. It is something I have never done or attempted before. Girish has a great script and has made a brilliant project. I’m excited, as it will throw open the door for more such adventures,” says the Zapatlela 2 (2013) actor.

The film will also see Adinath sharing the screen with veteran actor and director, Mahesh Manjrekar, for the first time. “I have been on the sets of his film and he has guided me before. However, in TCGN, we will be working together in a film for the first time. He has always been very helpful. He has a sea of knowledge when it comes to films, and he constantly keeps giving. It was a pleasure working with him,” the actor says, adding that he also learned a lot while working with his co-stars, Sachin Khedekar, Parna Pethe and Irawati Harshe.

Adinath recently returned from the Stuttgart Indian Film Festival, where his short film, Perspective, was showcased. He says, “I will reveal much more about the film soon. As of now, I can share that we received tremendous appreciation at the New York Indian Film Festival and at the Stuttgart Indian Film Festival. When an international audience understands and acknowledges your work, it brings about a whole new identity to the film.”
