Director Krishna S wants Amitabh Bachchan for Hebbuli

Kannada cinematographer-turned-director Krishna S says he is keen on having Amitabh Bachchan play a prominent role in his upcoming trilingual film, Hebbuli.

However, he is yet to approach the Bollywood megastar.

Hebbuli, which features superstar Sudeep in the lead, will be made in Kannada, Telugu and Tamil.

"I'm definitely interested in casting Bachchan sir but I haven't approach him yet. It will be wonderful to see him and Sudeep share the screen space after Rann. I might meet him in the first week of January provided I get an appointment," said Krishna.

Krishna also has a few Bollywood actors in mind for the role, but his first preference will be Big B.

"We will start shooting soon in Kashmir. I haven't zeroed in on the heroine yet too. I think I'll first cast my heroine and then finalize the rest of my cast," he added.

Meanwhile, Krishna is basking in the success of his Kannada directorial debut Gajakesari, which turned out to be one of the biggest hits this year.
