Gautham Vasudev Menon’s voice has always been considered unique. In Goli Soda 2 trailer, we see the ace director use his voice to deliver one of the most powerful monologues in recent times. It is a goosebump worthy moment as we see scenes depicting how poor are exploited while listening to the well chosen words.
The film is about the rich and influential walking all over poor, who initially cower in fear. But there is this much even the deprived will take. Everything changes as frustration piles up and the poor face their fears. Instead of running away, they decide to turn around and chase their oppressers. And that happens to be the premise of this film, directed by Vijay Milton.
The gripping trailer also features Gautham Vasudev Menon in a blink-and-miss appearance. Just like its predecessor Goli Soda, this film too is about four individuals who are trying to establish themselves. While the former is about four orphans and their struggles, this one is about individuals from different walks of life.
The film is bankrolled by Rough Note and stars Chemban Vinod Jose, Rohini, Subiksha, Krisha Kurup, Rakshita Babu , Bharath Seeni, Vinoth and Essaki Bharath in important roles. Samuthirakani plays a supporting role in the film expected to hit screens later this year.
