“I am doing the film. I play the role of a raja (king). Beyond this I cannot say much,” says Jackie, who was spotted at Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s retrospective on Thursday.

The film also features Deepika Padukone, and will be released later this year in Telugu, English, Hindi and Japanese.

Talking about his experience of working with South superstar Rajinikanth, Jackie says, “It was excellent working with him. He is India’s superstar... we had a great time.”

Jackie and Rajini have earlier worked together in Subhash Ghai’s Uttar Dakshin (1987).
