Mohini trailer: Trisha’s upcoming film reminds us of Tom Cruise’s Mummy, only, it’s much worse.
The trailer of Mohini was released on Wednesday and it served as a shock to people who have come to appreciate Trisha’s recent movie choices. It took a few minutes for me to digest the fact that I am seeing her on the screen. After Aranmanai and Nayaki, this is yet another horror film, and not what we need right now. From her weird eyes, which looks like a direct lift from Tom Cruise’s Mummy to her flying in mid air - it looks horrible. So why did Trisha choose to work on this film?
Five reasons why we did not like this trailer
Did the filmmakers want to tickle the audience’s funny bone with their efforts? The special effects and editing are so bad that we can see the harness that is helping Trisha/Mohini fly.
What is with the bullet that burns trees? How would this even work?
Let me save myself from the knife and fall to my death instead, logic. Trisha throws a knife at him and he jumps from atop of fierce waterfall to save himself.
This is not just a horror movie because it somehow tries to bring religion into the mix. Except for the fact that Goddess Kali has 10 hands, but Trisha’s Mohini has eight.

The ‘horror-thriller’ that provides no thrills nor scares is directed by Ramana Madhesh and bankrolled by Marvel Worth Productions. The film also stars Jackky Bhagnani, Suresh and Poornima Bhagyaraj. The music for this film is composed by Vivek - Mervin.
