Ram Charan opts for a veggie diet to get into the Dhruva look
In preparation for his role in the Telugu remake of Tamil film Thani Oruvan, Ram Charan has taken to a vegetarian diet and has exercised rigorously. He plays an IPS officer. The film’s called Dhruva.
Actor Ram Charan is leaving no stones unturned to get the desired look for his upcoming Telugu actioner Dhruva, where he plays an Indian Police Service (IPS) officer. He has done so by opting for a complete veggie diet and undertaking a rigorous workout regimen.

“He started working out much before the film went on floors. He wanted a leaner and fitter look which he achieved thanks to extensive workout sessions. In order to maintain his weight, he started following full veggie diet since the film started rolling,” said a source from the film’s unit.
Directed by Surender Reddy, the film is the official remake of Tamil blockbuster Thani Oruvan. Also starring Navdeep, Rakul Preet Singh, Posani Krishna Murali and Arvind Swamy, the film has music by hip-hop Tamizha duo.
The film is being produced by Geeta Arts.
