It’s been a great year so far for Ram Charan, who is basking in the phenomenal success of Rangasthalam. Not only did the Sukumar-directed revenge drama strike gold at the box-office, it turned a new leaf over in Ram Charan’s career, making people take notice of his acting prowess.

Having begun shooting for his next yet-untitled project with director Boyapati Sreenu, the Dhruva actor is back to working out hard for a new physique.

According to Charan’s wife Upasana Konidela, her husband has reunited with well-known celebrity trainer Rakesh Udiyar, who extensively works with Salman Khan. Charan had worked with Rakesh for Dhruva, in which he played an IPS officer. Upasana on Monday tweeted that her husband is back to working with Rakesh for his new project.

“Remember him - Mr C is bk to his strict training routine with @rakeshru @BeingSalmanKhan Bhai specially suggested him for #RamCharan - DO U WANT TO KNOW MR. C’s diet & workout plan? Want to give it a shot,” she tweeted with an old picture of Charan and Rakesh clicked during Dhruva.

Last week, Upasana took to twitter to announce that her husband is joining the sets of Boyapati’s film. “All set for RC 12. Good luck, Ram Charan.” She also shared a picture of Ram Charan offering prayers before joining the sets.

It’s worth mentioning that after attaining a killer body for Dhruva, Ram Charan went on a vegetarian diet for Rangasthalam to shed weight.

After playing a baddie in Ajith’s Vivegam, actor Vivek Oberoi will be seen as the antagonist in the film. The team recently shot his entry scene in Vijayawada. Apparently, Boyapati was impressed with Vivek’s performances in films such as Company and Rakht Charitra and roped him in to play the antagonist.

It has also been confirmed that Ramya Krishnan, last seen in Suriya’s Thaana Serntha Kootam, will essay a pivotal role in the movie. The film is being bankrolled by Bharat Ane Nenu producer DVV Danayya.
