RGV's Killing Veerappan to be launched on Rajkumar's birthday

Ram Gopal Varma's Kannada directorial debut called Killing Veerappan, based on the killer of the most wanted forest brigand, will be launched in Bengaluru on Friday on late Kannada superstar Rajkumar's birth anniversary.

Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma's Kannada directorial debut called Killing Veerappan, based on the killer of the most wanted forest brigand, will be launched in Bengaluru on Friday on late Kannada superstar Rajkumar's birth anniversary.

tweeted the first look of his film.

"Rajkumar's birthday is considered very auspicious in Kannada industry. This year, a few films are being launched along with RGV's Killing Veerappan. The film will be officially launched with a puja, while the regular shooting will start soon," said a source.

A multilingual project, Killing Veerappan will also be made in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi.

On Friday, two new Kannada projects featuring Rajkumar's son Puneeth Rajkumar and grandson Vinay Rajkumar, will be officially launched as well.
