Sai Tamhankar has bought a home in Pune and is excited about her latest purchase

A few days ago, Sai Tamhankar posted the first poster of her Marathi film Rakshas opposite Sharad Kelkar. The poster has led to a lot of intrigue about the film which releases in February next year. Sai shares, “It is an interesting genre and has been least explored in Marathi cinema. It has a story that will leave you surprised and the character I play is interesting too. I think we can call it a fantasy thriller.”

On working with debutant director Dyanesh Zoting and actor Sharad Kelkar, the Vazandar (2016) actor says, “Dyanesh is a good human being with a great vision. He is intelligent and that immediately translates in his works. Sharad is a cool dude and we gelled well together since the time we met. We are good friends now.”

Sai recently bought a home in Pune and admits that she is extremely proud of herself. She has also been deeply involved with a lot of social work lately. “I really believe in spreading goodness. I think if I do something right, it will give me peace. I am a human being after all and I look forward to being happy and peaceful. I also believe in spreading awareness especially for the new generation. I always feel if there is something where I can influence or inspire, I will bring it up and do it.”

The actor had gained a lot of weight for her character in Sachin Kundalkar’s Vazandar, so she is looking at 2018 to be her fittest year. “I am trying to work on myself physically a lot and also looking forward to a couple of releases aligned next year.”
