Sethupathi director Arun Kumar’s next an action flick
Sethupathi director SU Arun Kumar says his next film will be an action film but no actor has been approached yet.
Tamil police drama Sethupathi turned out to be a hit and its director SU Arun Kumar is ready with another script, an action film. “The script work is almost done. In a week or two, I should be ready to pitch my story. It’s going to be an action project and contrary to rumours, I haven’t approached any actor yet,” said Arun Kumar.
Refusing to divulge more information, he said it’s going to be an interesting film. Asked if it will be another police story, he said: “I can’t reveal anything at the moment. We have to wait for the official announcement.”

Arun and Sethupathi star Vijay worked together in two Tamil films, the romantic-drama Pannaiyarum Padminiyum and Sethupathi later, which saw Vijay play an uptight police officer. Remya Nambeesan played its female lead.
