Sunny Leone’s Tamil film Veeramadevi formally launched with a puja. See pic inside

Sunny Leone is soon to make her full-fledged Kollywood debut (she did a cameo in a film called Vadacurry appearing in a song called ‘Low Aana life u’) with a film titled Veeramadevi. The film was formally launched on Thursday with a puja. Tweeting about it, Sunny wrote: “#Veeramadevi shooting started today!! So excited.”
To be directed by VC Vadivudaiyan, Veeramadevi is said to be a war film and Sunny will essay the role of a warrior princess.
According to a report in The News Minute, the film will be produced by Phonse Stephen under his production company Steve’s Corner. Veeramadevi is being made on a lavish budget with the makers keeping aside a huge sum especially for VFX.
Actor Navdeep will play the antagonist in the film. Sunny has set aside 150 days exclusively for the film’s shoot, the report added.
Since it is period drama, Sunny was expected to undergo training in sword fighting. Quoting her from a previous interview, the report said how she has always liked doing action sequences. “I was waiting for a script like this for a long time. I started preparing for this movie from the minute director VC Vadivudayan narrated the story. I have a special love towards south India.”
