Tamil blockbuster Thani Oruvan, which is going in for a Telugu remake, will be directed by director Surender Reddy. The project is yet to get a name. The remake will feature Ram Charan in the lead.

“Surender has been finalised to direct the project. We are in the process of finalising the rest of the cast and crew,” said DVV Danayya, who has acquired the Telugu remake rights of the film.
This will be Danayya’s second Telugu outing in a row with Ram Charan, whose forthcoming release Bruce Lee: The Fighter has also been produced by the former.
The pre-production work on the remake will start post the release Bruce Lee: The Fighter.
