A recent UK survey conducted by a beauty brand has found that a majority of women would rather give up sex than part ways with their moisturiser. A separate research carried out by Sanctuary Spa on 1,000 women earlier this month has revealed surprising data about women’s relationship with their skin.

In a rather unrealistic scenario, which pitted cosmetics against sex and television, 55 per cent of the women chose their skin moisturiser over their sex life, 94 per cent selected skincare products over catching up on the latest episode of the TV show, Downton Abbey.

According to the second survey, skin is apparently the next thing women notice about each other after clothing, and 91 per cent of the women surveyed termed skin as the top age giveaway.

According to the first study, 26 per cent of the women longed for more youthful looking skin, 14 per cent wished for longer legs and the rest wanted thicker hair
