ABU DHABI: Mohammad Amir quit Pakistan’s one-day series against the West Indies and flew home after his mother was taken seriously ill, the Pakistan Cricket Board said. The 24-year-old left for Lahore and will miss the third and final one-day international against West Indies in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday. “The team management has allowed Amir to return home to attend to his mother who is seriously ill,” the PCB said.
