Ranieri happy with spirit of players
LEICESTER: Manager Claudio Ranieri said he had seen reassuring signs of the ‘old’ Leicester City after his team’s 1-0 Champions League victory over Porto at the King Power Stadium.

“I’m happy when I see my players play like tonight, with our spirit,” said Ranieri, whose side were playing their first home game in the Champions League in the club’s 132-year history.
“I recognise this team when it plays together as a team. If we play in this way, I’m not surprised.”
DYBALA RELIEVED TO SCORE AT LAST
MILAN: Juventus forward Paulo Dybala was relieved to have finally found the net after a start to the season which has seen him overshadowed by fellow Argentine Gonzalo Higuain.
The 22-year-old, a revelation as he scored 23 goals in all competitions last season, broke his duck in Tuesday’s 4-0 Champions League win away to Dinamo Zagreb.
“It gets tougher with every game that you don’t score,” Dybala told reporters. “Fortunately, this time I scored and we played well. I hope that this is my return, although the first thing I think about is giving everything for the team,” he added.
SON SPARKS SPURS TO VICTORY IN MOSCOW
MOSCOW: South Korean winger Son Heung-min got Tottenham Hotspur’s Champions League campaign up and running with a 1-0 win at CSKA Moscow.
Son picked up a pass from Erik Lamela after 71 minutes to score his fifth goal in five games for the north Londoners.
The three points put Tottenham second, one point behind Monaco, who drew 1-1 with Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen in the other game in Group E.
