The apex body had initially stated at the first meeting on April 11 that the committee appointed to scrutinize Houghton's reply to the showcause notice filed by the AIFF would hold a second round of talks on April 20.
"That was a tentative date," said AIFF general-secretary Kushal Das and added, "The investigation is being carried out by the committee (comprising AIFF vice-presidents Subrata Dutta and Ankur Dutta and treasurer Hardev Jadeja besides Das himself) presently. We will give them a date once we're done."
Dayal told HT, "The AIFF committee presumably needs more time so for now there's nothing much we can do."
DSA to hold trials The Delhi Soccer Association (DSA) will hold an open trials -cum-coaching camp from April 20 (3.00 pm onwards) at the Ambedkar Stadium to select the Delhi State senior team which will play in the 65th Senior National Football Championship for Santosh Trophy 2011-12 that is scheduled to commence in seven venues of Assam including Guwahati, Nagoan, Mangaldoi, Tinsukia, Shivsagar, Kokraja and Bongalgaon from May 6 to May 30. Registered players from other states too can participate and may report to the selection committee chairman O.P. Malhotra.
