Speaking on India's missed chances in the tournament, Harmanpreet said, "It’s every coach’s concern if you are not converting your chances, whether corners or field goals. So, you always try to work out ‘why?’ and try to find a solution for that and combinations of players together."

IND chief coach Fulton said, "You gotta do it all over again and take nothing for granted. And, it’s a back-to-back game, so it will be tough. We will look at what happened tonight (Sunday), take the positives and go again."

The Pakistan vs China round-robin fixture has begun and both sides will be aiming for an early lead in the first quarter.

After the win vs Malaysia, India captain Harmanpreet said, "If you look then this is how we are preparing for Asian Games. We are getting good matches ahead of Asian Games. It is good for us as well as others. We can work on what we learned in this tournament. It is a good opportunity to play against Asian countries ahead of the Asian Games."

"Definitely I think our first match was also good as we scored so many goals. We are hoping to maintain a clean sheet. The second match was tough for the team. Japan played really well on that day. What we learned from our previous game was to keep our defence strong and convert the opportunities coming our way.

"It is a proud feeling when you wear a jersey to represent the country it is the biggest honour. It is the support of our family. So, the biggest thing is that I am representing the country. Teams are good. It takes time to suddenly adjust playing to against Asian countries after playing against European nations. We know what we have to do and where we need to work on with or without the ball. We will discuss that in a team meeting," he further added.

India began their campaign with a 7-2 thrashing of China. The match saw Harmanpreet and Varun bag braces for the home side. Then, in the next match Harmanpreet scored again but India were held to a 1-1 draw by Japan. In their third and latest fixture, they hammered Malaysia in a 5-0 win.

Ahead of the match, India's vice-captain Hardik said, "We are going match by match. Be it China or Korea. We are going as per our strategies and tactics. We don't want to take any team lightly."

"It was a great effort by the team. In the last match, we did not show enough patience. It was good that we were able to set the tempo for the match. So, it was a good match. It was a good match for me. There are duties of our DMF (Defence, Mid-field and Forwards). Our focus was on those duties. We are learning in every match running up to the Asian Games. We are playing really well and we would like to carry on in the same fashion," he further added.

In terms of head-to-head, India has a huge lead, having won 35 matches compared to South Korea's 11. 12 matches have ended as a draw.
