LONDON: Yorkshire coach Jason Gillespie has confirmed he will stay with the English county champions instead of applying for a position on Australia’s back-room staff. Gillespie met Australia coach Darren Lehmann this week and it is believed his former international teammate asked if he was willing to become Australia’s bowling coach. But former Australia fast bowler Gillespie now claims no job offer was made by Cricket Australia and he has contacted Lehmann to inform him he will not be applying for one if it was.
