Mom's Farmville obsession kills baby
A woman killed her baby for crying while she was 'busy' playing Farmville, a game application on Facebook. Read on to know more.
Allexandra Tobias, a 22-year-old mother admitted to killing her own son Dylan Lee Edmondson for interrupting while she was playing the computer game Farmville on social networking website Facebook.
She told investigators that she became angry because the baby was continuously crying while she was playing and she shook the infant till he was dead, reported Times Union.
Tobias pleaded guilty to second degree murder which is punishable by up to life in prison. The prosecutor Richard Mantei said Tobias' plea will help avoid the family reliving the tragedy during a jury trial.
Tobias told investigators that she shook the baby, smoked a cigarette to compose herself and then shook him again. She said the baby may have hit his head during the shaking.
