Galaxy S25 Edge just 5.8mm thin? Dummy model leak reveals what to expect
Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to launch in April—here’s what recent dummy model leaks reveal.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge could be much thinner than initially expected, coming in at just 5.8mm. A potential dummy unit has been showcased in a video by a South Korea-based YouTuber, The Sinza, who specialises in tech.

This comes ahead of the official launch of the phone, which is reportedly set for April. The S25 Edge will be the fourth model in the S25 lineup, sitting alongside the Galaxy S25 Ultra, S25 Plus, and the standard S25.
YouTuber The Sinza has showcased dummy units of the S25 Edge in various colourways, giving us a preview of what could be the design of the upcoming device. Here are the details, read on.
S25 Edge To Be Just 5.8mm Thick?
It was always clear that the S25 Edge was going to be a thin phone. However, the new video posted by The Sinza suggests that the device could be just 5.8mm thick. This is reportedly similar to the expected thickness of the upcoming iPhone 17, which leaks suggest could be around 5.5mm.
As for the rest of the design, the dummy units closely resemble an earlier device showcased by Samsung in January during the S25 launch. The phone appears slim across the board, with a noticeable camera protrusion on the left side.
In fact, the YouTuber also compares it with the S25 Ultra, which is 8.2mm thick. The S25 Edge looks significantly slimmer in comparison.
