On Tuesday, the Maharashtra Andhashradha Nirmoolan Samiti (ANiS) observed the sixth death anniversary of Dabholkar, who was shot dead by two bike-borne assailants on August 20, 2013, at Omkareshwar bridge.

As sea recedes, CBI will begin search for murder weapon in Dabholkar case

Dabholkar murder case: Two sent to CBI custody

They were produced before a Pune-based court of Additional Sessions Judge SN Sonawane, who remanded them to the agency's custody till June 1 after hearing the arguments of the prosecution and the defence.

Sharad Kalaskar was among the five people the Maharashtra Anti-terrorism Squad (ATS) had earlier this month arrested in connection with the seizure of crude bombs and firearms in Nalasopara and other parts of Maharashtra.
