Along with Priti Choksi, ED has again named Choksi, the duo’s three companies – Gitanjali Gems, Gili India and Nakshatra Brand – and Gokulnath Shetty, a former employee at PNB, in the latest charge sheet under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act

After he went missing on May 23, 2021, from Antigua, where he is a citizen, and was found in Dominica the next day, Choksi and his legal team alleged he was abducted.
In its first information report (FIR) filed on Saturday, CBI said Choksi approached IFCI Ltd seeking financial assistance for its long-term working capital requirement and induced the financial institution to sanction a corporate loan of ₹25 crore in March 2016.
