Madhya Pradesh mulls national anthem recital mandate in madrasas

The Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) MP unit president Vishnu Dutt Sharma said the national anthem should be recited at all educational institutions across the country.

Delhi riots: HC orders fair probe in death of man forced to sing national anthem

The incident took place on February 24, 2020, and a video of it was widely shared online in the days that followed. The deceased, Faizan, could be seen being beaten and assaulted allegedly by policemen, who also forced him to sing the national anthem and Vande Mataram.

'National Anthem played for first time in Nagaland Assembly': Minister

Assembly commissioner and secretary Dr PJ Antony confirmed this, saying that playing the National Anthem was never the convention in the Nagaland Assembly.
