While getting ready for her grand entrance, Isha spoke with jewellery influencer Julia Hackman Chafé, who asked about the intricate ensemble. In a heartwarming moment caught on camera, the entrepreneur excitedly pointed to the dazzling gems adorning her outfit. With a bright smile, she affectionately repeated, “Mom, Mom, mom,” emphasising that every piece on the customised blouse came directly from her mother’s personal collection.

Towards the end of the video, Chafé asks Ambani if the jewels are real. To which, the entrepreneur just smiles without saying anything.

“#IshaAmbani wearing head to toe #NitaAmbani’s jewelry for the #MetGala,” Chafé wrote on Instagram while sharing a video of her conversation with Isha Ambani.

Isha Ambani’s Met Gala look:

According to a post shared on Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC), Ambani attended the Met Gala in a “custom handwoven saree by couturier Gaurav Gupta, styled by Anaita Shroff Adajania.”

The post continued, “Reimagined as a living canvas, the piece draws from India’s artistic heritage, blending fresco influences with a contemporary design language. Woven in pure gold threads over 1,200 hours by more than 50 craftspeople, including master artisans from Swadesh, the saree comes alive with hand-painted Pichwai motifs and intricate embroidery.”

It added, “Heirloom jewellery from Mrs. Nita Ambani’s personal collection and a jasmine hair sculpture complete the look, marking a defining cultural moment. She finishes her look by carrying the Subodh Gupta mango sculpture- a literal response to this year’s theme, a work of art in hand, and the fruit of the subcontinent as a nod to her roots.”

The jasmine bud and bloom were created using paper, copper and brass. Once done, the garland was painted with Indian pigment paint. Brooklyn-based artist Sourabh Gupta spent more than 150 hours hand-shaping each bud.

This is not the first time Isha Ambani wowed at the red carpet in mom Nita Ambani's jewellery. While attending the 2025 Met Gala in an Anamika Khanna outfit, she donned a diamond necklace featuring two rows of large diamonds from her mom’s collection. She also wore her mom's brooches.
