The question was shared on Instagram by the handle @maths.puzzles__. This page often shares various maths-related brain teasers. In this particular question, it reads, "If 9+1= 91, 8+2 = 75, 7÷3 =61, 6+4 = 49, 5+5 = 39 then what is 3+7= ?"

An individual wrote, "25 is the solution; 8 + 2= 75 because 75 = (9 * 8) + (1 + 2). Note that before the search term 3 + 7 =? there is an expression 4 + 6 which should be included in the thought string and the solution of which is 31 = (5 * 4) + (5 + 6). Only now can we obtain an interesting solution to the next expression 3 + 7 = 25 = (4 * 3) + (6 + 7)." A few others also said that the correct answer is "25."
