The video of a sculptor carving animals from a block of wood was posted on Reddit.

And a sculptor carving animals from a block of wood in a video posted online exemplifies this phrase. The video posted on Reddit is oddly satisfying to watch, and there are possibilities that you may end up watching it more than once.
"Carving A Block Of Wood With A Chisel To Make Little Characters," reads the caption of the video posted on Reddit. The video opens to show the tools required to carve the wood and progresses to show the sculptor preparing the wooden block by shaving and cutting it. The carver then uses a pencil and a scale to make markings on the block to cut them into three pieces. The sculptor then picks up a wooden block and starts modelling it with the tools shown in the beginning. Soon enough, the wooden block appears like a cat. Towards the end of the video, the sculptor paints the wooden cat and dog.

Since being shared a few hours ago, the video has received 68,800 upvotes and hundreds of comments.
"If this were me, each new shot would have more bandaids on my hands," posted a Reddit user. "I thought it meant characters like letters, but then it was dogs and cats. Very cool," commented another.
