Brosnan is replacing Sam Neill of Jurassic Park who was originally cast in the role but left for personal reasons, reports Deadline.com.
This marks only the second major TV series for Brosnan three decades after his starring role on the 1982 NBC adventure dramedy (drama comedy) Remington Steele.
