Arjun Bijlani of Naagin gets hurt on the sets of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa

The actor reportedly got back to his rehearsals just two hours after taking some pain killers.

TV actor Arjun Bijlani, a contestant in the latest season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, was injured on the sets of the dance reality show on Monday. The actor landed on his pelvic bone while doing a “stunt” and doctors advised a week’s bed rest for him. However, the actor reportedly got back to his rehearsals just two hours after taking some pain killers.

Entertainment website Filmymonkey quoted Arjun sa saying, ““Yes, I was doing this split-to-tumble move with Bhavna and while doing the tumble I landed on my pelvic bone. I did not quite feel any pain that time and continued to rehearse. But soon, there was excruciating pain and I went to the doctor, where he asked me to go to the hospital. The doctor there had a look and said there is a huge swelling and it will take about 4-5 days to recover.”

Sharing a picture from the fall, Arjun wrote on his Facebook, “The pain that’s felt now can’t be compared to the joy coming ahead! #staymotivated #Rehearsal #Jhalakdikhlajaa9”

Comedian Gaurav Gera, TV actors Helly Shah (Swara) and Shakti Arora (Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi), Bollywood actors Surveen Chawla and Karishma Tanna, dancers Priyanka and Poonam Shah and celebrity Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi will take part in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9 that will see filmmaker Karan Johar, actor Jacqueline Fernandez and choreographer Ganesh Hegde as the judges on the show. The new season will start airing from July 30.
