In what seemed to many to be a case of account hacking or yet another publicity gimmick for the upcoming season of the show, he wrote, “I quit roadies x a week back ... I’m not getting a budget from MTV ... I had to then commit to a trp for the 1st time ... That the bet cost me 25L ... And that my bro donny (Rannvijay) has chosen this year to stand opposite me?” He went on to seek support from followers, adding, “(Brother) Rajiv is not with me this time. @ Rannvijay Singha is not vibing with me either .. I feel isolated and lonely... really low.”

Later, he clarified to us that he was in a bad mood and matters stand sorted. “No problem with MTV. Having to prove myself again after 10 years. Wife’s out of town. Feeling low, that’s all,” he texted.
