Pakistani cricketer Mohammad Asif's ex girlfriend Veena Malik said on Bigg Boss show that she is single and wants to remain so, contradicting her earlier statement about being engaged to businessman Faisal Akbar Khan.

She’s been caught lying! Pakistani actor Veena Malik, who is currently a contestant on Colors reality TV show, Bigg Boss, has done a U-turn on her relationship status.

In a September 6 interview with HT City, Veena raved about her fiancé, Faisal Akbar Khan. “Now, I am engaged to Faisal Akbar Khan… a very good-looking man. He is a businessman from Rawalpindi, but has American citizenship and is settled there. My family knew his family, and my mother also likes him. I am very happy with him,” she had said.

However, in the episode that aired on Tuesday, the actor, while confiding in co-contestant Shweta Tiwari about ex boyfriend, cricketer Mohammad Asif, said, “I am single and want to remain single for the next two to four years. I can’t even think of a relationship right now. I am a one man woman.”

However, Veena’s spokesperson, Sohail Rasheed, maintains she is still with Khan. “Veena and Faisal are still engaged,” he says. About Veena’s statement, he adds, “After the whole fiasco with Asif, Veena’s parents had chosen Faisal for her. Initially, she was not very excited about the prospect. She told me that she will not marry for another four years. That is what she means when she says she is single.”
