Time: 10 pm, Monday to Friday

Station: Star Plus

Cast: Harshad Chopra and others

Childhood buddies Anurag and Taani are secretively married off to each other one evening after school. They don’t know how to deal with the marriage that has to be a tightly guarded secret till they grow up.

The story runs into flashback and the present where Anurag has lost his mental balance and Taani narrates their love story. The treatment of the show is very movie-like. The Kolkata setting has been duly used.

The sets are realistic. Certain background music pieces have been heard before in other Ekta Kapoor shows, nevermind!

What we like

* Ekta Kapoor’s back to Kolkata-based stories.

* The look and feel of the show is great.

* The kids have acted

well.

* Just when you begin to think that it’s getting predictable, the show has a new twist.

We don’t like

* The background music pieces needed to be different from the other Balaji Telefilms shows.

* Ditto the camera movements.

Show:Street Dance

Time: 8 pm, Monday to Wednesday

Station: UTV Bindaas

Cast: Dancers

What we like

* All dance forms are

represented.

* The groups are first rate.

* There’s no drama.

* The concept is great.

We don’t like

* The timing of the show could have been better suited for the viewers the show targets.
