In the seven-day show, Dinesh’s performance was a mixture of good knowledge and effective bluffing that topped him over his nearest rival, Freanahita Nair, a housewife from Mumbai. In a thrilling finale Dinesh and Freanahita battled it out without either of them folding. However, finally experience overtook confidence and Freanahita who underestimated the calm Dinesh, lost all her winnings of Rs 14,40,000.

Dinesh Vohra became the first Indian winner of Poker Face since the internationally successful quiz-game show debuted in India on Real on 2 March, 2009.

Dinesh used his knowledge and brilliancy in facial expressions to outscore his opponents. The final round with Freanahita came to down to the wire, with the scores difference of just Rs. 25000 between the two.

Dinesh Vohra, a 52-year old Mumbai resident, works for the intelligence wing of an import and export body. He is also an author, an astrologer, a music composer who loves shayari. His parents live in Delhi.
