Ekta Kapoor throws fit on sets of her TV show

Pavitra Rishta will have a two-hour Ganesh Chaturthi special on Zee TV. Apart from Ankita Lokhande and Sushant Singh Rajput (Archana-Manav from the show), there will be performances by other actors too.

Producer Ekta Kapoor paid a surprise visit on the show’s sets to catch the rehearsals. She was shocked to discover that her team was putting together a funky dance number with the leads at a time when their characters are going through a rough patch on the show.

Kapoor said, “There has to be some consistency even if a festive celebration comes up. The current track shows Manav and Archana parting ways. I will not throw in a dance number for the heck of it right now!”

Her team countered that they had put together the dance act on public demand. Kapoor finally decided that the two will dance, but it will only be a dream sequence!
