Oscar-winning actor Emma Thompson, is set to follow in actor Helen Mirren’s royal footsteps after signing up to play the Queen in a new British TV drama, Walking The Dogs.

Oscar-winning actor Emma Thompson, is set to follow in actor Helen Mirren’s royal footsteps after signing up to play the Queen in a new British TV drama, Walking
The Dogs.
The 52-year-old will portray Her Royal Highness, in the project which revolves aroundintruder Michael Fagan’s infamous meeting with the Queen at Buckingham Palace, in July 1982, reported Contactmusic.com.
Actor Eddie Marsan will portray Fagan’s character.
