She reached far, just not far enough. Aditi Govitrikar, who was evicted from the Bigg Boss house on Friday, says she wasn’t expecting being voted out. “I didn’t think I would be evicted,” she says, quickly trying to explain the reason for her eviction. “At some level, being non-controversial and not having catfights worked against me,” she says.

She’s also emphatic that others are doing their best to grab TRPs.

Vindu Dara Singh, feels Govitrikar, is not normal. “He’s really keen to win… and when that’s what one desperately wants, then they do everything that they think is right to be a winner. He talks to cameras and to himself… and that’s not really a normal thing to do.”

She adds that although Pravesh Rana and Claudia Ciesla became good friends, both were initially flirting to grab attention. “They became good friends by the end of it. But, to begin with, it was to attract attention to themselves. Such things always grab eyeballs.”

She’s feels that Rana had an unfair advantage on the show. “I like Pravesh because he’s smart. But he had an upper hand advantage over others because he came into the game late. I wish he had been inside from Day 1.”

Govitrikar, who broke down on seeing the videotape of Vindu, Rohit Verma and Raju Srivastav conspiring against the housemates, says Rohit’s behaviour especially shocked her.

“When I saw the tape, I was like, ‘Wow, is that the level people have to sink to change the game?’ The most shocking was Rohit’s behaviour. He said ‘I love you’ to me everyday, and then spoke nonsense behind my back. If he hadn’t done what he did, he would’ve reached very far. He was entertaining and funny.”

She claims that Poonam Dhillon, too, had started picking on her. “During the last week certain problems cropped up — I feel she was picking on me.”

Govitrikar hopes her stint on the show will give a boost to her career. “I hope so. That was the only reason why I came on Bigg Boss... and I needed a platform.”
