First jobs are always challenging, especially when you’re working in the cut-throat world of television.

However, these fresh faces have managed to make a mark, and delivered good performances in their debut shows.

We talk to the newcomers’ co-stars about what makes them actors to look out for.

Who: Mishkat Verma (Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya)

What works:
Reena Kapoor says, "In spite of being a newcomer, he picked up the nuances of his character well. His innocent looks suit the character well. He proved his mettle on the show. He’s a fast learner."
